This year marks Noland Health Services’ 100 year legacy of providing health services to the citizens of Alabama. A recognized leader in the industry, this anniversary is one of pioneering achievements. In 1913, Dr. Lloyd Noland came to Jefferson County, Alabama at the invitation of the Tennessee Coal, Iron and Land Company (TCIL) to address the public health needs of workers who suffered from smallpox, typhoid, and other epidemic diseases. Growing from the progressive system founded by Dr. Noland, Noland Health Services today follows his legacy. A private, not-for-profit health care organization, Noland is one of the largest providers of multi-level senior living communities (Living Options and Services vary by community) in the state. Noland Health Services also specializes in long term acute care hospitals (LTACH) for patients who require extended care due to chronic diseases or complex medical conditions.
Noland Health Services is dedicated to identifying and meeting the healthcare needs of the people and communities we serve by providing innovative, high quality health services in a compassionate, efficient and effective manner.
